Observe social distancing and meet local requirements with this well-designed face covering.

We sew our masks from three layers of pre-washed quilting cotton. The outer and inner layers are contrasting fabrics, so you'll always know which is the "clean" side. The mask features an inner slip pocket so you can add a filter of your choosing.

Our masks tie behind the head with a smooth polyester cord, which provided an adjustable fit for different head shapes & sizes. A nose wire sewn into the mask provides for even more customization, and won't slip.

These masks are currently available in two sizes, for adults and children. The adult-sized mask is large enough to serve as a cover for an N95 mask. Inventory shown here is in stock and ready to ship; we will add new patterns and sizes as available.

As with all handmade items, we recommend that you wash the mask before you wear it for the first time, and between each use. The cord tie can remain in place during laundering, but we recommend washing it in a lingerie bag to prevent twisting.

Disclaimer: These masks are for personal use only, and are not medical grade. They are not intended to replace medical grade or N95 masks. They are not suitable for use in a surgical setting. Please consult the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) for guidance on the use of cotton masks, available at

Are other colors of embroidery thread available?

Absolutely! Our preferred supplies offers over 300 colors of embroidery thread, including neon colors and even multi-color twists. When we look to other suppliers, we can access over 1,000 colors, including glow-in-the-dark thread.

We know it's overwhelming to have to choose from 1,000 colors, especially when shopping online, which is why our listings show just our most popular colors. However, if you're looking for a specific color, please let us know and we'll do our best to match it. We can also match many PMS colors for corporate logos and coordinating promotional item packages.

Are other embroidery fonts available?

In a word: yes! We have an in-house library of over 300 embroidery fonts and over 100 monogram designs.

As with thread colors, we know it's overwhelming to have too many font choices. Our listings show just our most popular fonts and designs.

If you're looking for a specific font, please let us know and we'll let you know if we have it, or do our best to find it. We can also embroider using most TrueType fonts, and can digitize your own design or corporate logos for embroidery.

What are the rules for monograms? In what order do my initials go?

Monograms are personal, and even etiquette professionals disagree about "the rules." Here are some guidelines:

The traditional arrangement for a three-letter monogram is First, Last, Middle, with the last name being in the center and/or largest. Mary Jane Smith = MSJ. Alan Karl Jones = aJk

For one-letter monograms, the tradition is to use the first name initial for women, last name initial for men. For matching gifts for couples, use either first names or last initial.

There are situations where it's appropriate to break from tradition. People with multiple middle names, hyphenated last names, or who prefer a two-letter initial all present unique designs. Please feel free to Convo us for assistance in creating your perfect monogram.
