Frequently Asked Questions

Custom and personalized orders

We specialize in custom and personalized orders. Use the examples provided as a starting point, and let us create something completely original for you.

Why don't you accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations?

Since orders are personalized for you, we can not accept returns or exchanges, and can not cancel an order once it has been created. However, if there is any problem with the item, please contact us and we will make every effort to resolve the issue.

Are other colors of embroidery thread available?

Absolutely! Our preferred supplies offers over 300 colors of embroidery thread, including neon colors and even multi-color twists. When we look to other suppliers, we can access over 1,000 colors, including glow-in-the-dark thread.

We know it's overwhelming to have to choose from 1,000 colors, especially when shopping online, which is why our listings show just our most popular colors. However, if you're looking for a specific color, please let us know and we'll do our best to match it. We can also match many PMS colors for corporate logos and coordinating promotional item packages.

Are other embroidery fonts available?

In a word: yes! We have an in-house library of over 300 embroidery fonts and over 100 monogram designs.

As with thread colors, we know it's overwhelming to have too many font choices. Our listings show just our most popular fonts and designs.

If you're looking for a specific font, please let us know and we'll let you know if we have it, or do our best to find it. We can also embroider using most TrueType fonts, and can digitize your own design or corporate logos for embroidery.

What are the rules for monograms? In what order do my initials go?

Monograms are personal, and even etiquette professionals disagree about "the rules." Here are some guidelines:

The traditional arrangement for a three-letter monogram is First, Last, Middle, with the last name being in the center and/or largest. Mary Jane Smith = MSJ. Alan Karl Jones = aJk

For one-letter monograms, the tradition is to use the first name initial for women, last name initial for men. For matching gifts for couples, use either first names or last initial.

There are situations where it's appropriate to break from tradition. People with multiple middle names, hyphenated last names, or who prefer a two-letter initial all present unique designs. Please feel free to Convo us for assistance in creating your perfect monogram.
